Liam Graduates With Chartered Marketer Status At Central Hall, Westminster

We had an exciting start to November, with our founder, Liam Saunders, graduating with the coveted Chartered Marketer status. Liam graduated on the 2^nd November 2024 at the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s graduation ceremony, which was held at Central Hall Westminster in London. He was part of the first group of Chartered Marketers to attend a CIM graduation ceremony.

Liam enjoyed celebrating the achievements of so many marketers, many of whom were receiving Level 6 and Level 7 CIM qualifications! The presence of Chartered Marketers at the graduation ceremony underlines the importance that CIM places on Chartered Marketers as advocates for professional marketing. The graduation ceremony follows Liam being formally awarded Chartered Marketer status in May 2024. To achieve Chartered Marketer status, he completed two consecutive years of continuing professional development (CPD) and passed the Chartered Marketer Assessment.

The CIM Graduation Ceremony

The CIM graduation ceremony was hosted at Central Hall Westminster in London, a leading conference and events venue that hosts graduations for many respected educational institutions. Its high ceilings and suitably grand interior certainly added to the occasion, as did the domed ceiling and imposing stage.

During the graduation ceremony, Liam celebrated the achievements of students receiving their Level 6 and Level 7 CIM qualifications before taking to the stage as part of the first group of Chartered Marketers to attend a CIM graduation ceremony. He shook hands with members of the CIM gradation party including the CIM CEO, after which he received an engraved CIM pen set, which celebrates 25 years of Chartered Marketers.

Following the presentation of qualifications, the CIM CEO, Chris Daly shared an insightful perspective on the importance of the marketing profession as the voice of the customer. He also highlighted the key role that Chartered Marketers and marketing graduates will play in not only shaping the future of the marketing function but also the overall strategic direction of businesses. We can certainly identify with his perspective and recognise the key role that the marketing profession plays in representing the customers and setting the future direction of businesses across all sectors.
