VIP IT Joins The Hampshire Chamber of Commerce

We are really pleased to announce that VIP IT is now officially a member of the Hampshire Chamber of Commerce. This blog article outlines some of the things we are looking forward to doing as members of the Chamber as well as what we are going to bring to the table.

The Hampshire Chamber of Commerce is part of the wider Chambers of Commerce network, and membership allows us to take advantage of number of benefits and opportunities. These include networking (virtually for now!), advertising and business support. 

Networking With The Hampshire Chamber

Being part of an active business network is especially important in the current climate. Joining a Chamber of Commerce is a great way of networking with other local businesses from different sectors, from small startups to larger businesses. Many are also offering virtual events and discounts on advertising with the Chamber, so it is still worth joining despite the current situation.

If anything, the pandemic should be seen as a good reason to join a Chamber of Commerce if you haven’t already. If you have missed out on networking – and the benefits to your business, social life and mental health that go with it – then joining a Chamber of Commerce is likely to allow you to return to some kind of normal in that respect. 

The uncertainty and challenges brought about by the pandemic has meant that businesses across all sectors have had to adapt quickly. In many cases, businesses have even been forced to totally re-structure. Fortunately, our work has been largely unaffected – we are able to work remotely and there continues to be a demand for digital marketing. However, like all businesses we have had to adapt to the changing situation.
